Who could save our souls?

In the Book of Revelation 1:18, Jesus said to John in a vision,
"Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades."
Paul reassured the Corinthians,
"But Christ has indeed raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For death came through one man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in its own turn: Christ, the first fruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to Him" (1 Corinthians 15:20-23).
"Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:55-56).
Only Jesus could save our souls and spirits from eternal death.
The very purpose why Jesus came was to seek and to save the lost. Here are few promises Jesus has given us that we can trust; Jesus says,
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going" (John 14:1-4).
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
You know dear friend, Jesus gave these promises and He will surely do it. He is God. He has proven this by rising up from the dead. He wants us only to trust Him. He knows we have no power to rise up from the dead and go to heaven. So we do our part of trusting Him and expect Him to do His part of His promise.
Therefore, How Do we Face Death in Peace and Confidence?
