Why did Jesus ignore peoples' insult?

Jesus'd died in our place
Jesus was not a sinner and therefore He did not need to be saved. On the contrary, Jesus is the Lamb of God, redemption for our sins. The Bible says,
"For God took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then, in exchange, he poured God's goodness into us" (2 Corinthians 5:21).
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is the one I meant when I said, 'A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel" (John 1:29-31).
Jesus came to save the sinners like us
We sinners need a Savior. Bible says,
"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost" (Matthew 1:21).
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins" (Luke 19:10).
Jesus was resurrected from the dead
If Jesus did not die and rise from the dead, He cannot defeat Satan, sin and death and we cannot be saved.
"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. For I am the least of all the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God" (1 Corinthians 15:3-9).
"But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is our faith. More than that we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead..." (1 Corinthians 15:12-15a).
"And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost" (1 Corinthians 15:17).
"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20).
Jesus came to do the will of God and glorify Him
God sent Jesus to do His will and He was obeying God and not responding to the public insult. Jesus says,
"...I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me" (John 5:30).
"I am not possessed by a demon," said Jesus, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge" (John 8:49-50).
