How to Know Christ Is in my life?

The moment you received Jesus Christ many things happened including the following:

If you have received Jesus Christ into your life, you can know the following on the basis of God's Promises.

  • Jesus came into your life

    (Christ speaking)
    "Behold I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him" (Revelation 3:20).

  • Your sins were forgiven

    "And this is the secret:that Christ in your heart is the only hope of glory" (Colossians 1:14).

  • You became a child of God

    "As many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God"(John 1:12).

  • You received eternal life

    "I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life"(1 John 5:13).This does not apply to those who commit suicide. Because the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, "Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple."

  • You began the great adventure for which God created you

    Jesus speaking "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly "(John 10:10); "When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Can you think of anything more wonderful that could happen to you than receiving Christ? Would you like to thank Him for what He has done for you? The very act of thanking God expresses your faith. Here is a suggested thanksgiving prayer:

“Thank you Lord Jesus for coming into my life, forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life." Amen.

Welcome to God’s Great family! In Mark 8:38 Jesus said, “Anyone who is ashamed of Me and My message in these days of unbelief and sin, I, the Messiah, will be ashamed of him when I return in the glory of My Father, with the holy angels." So, tell your friends what you did with Jesus today.

Next thing I encourage you to do is, get a Holy Bible and start reading from the Gospel of John and attend a near by church where Jesus is honored and the Bible is taught.
